where are all my toys?

so i wake up this morning, and its frickin cold. yeah, nothing really new, its been getting colder here for the last few weeks, and this isnt really any colder than its been according to the thermometer in my bedroom.

so if we take a look at the various gifts i've received in reference to my bday, the coolest has to be the box of goodies i got which, coincidentally also travelled the farthest. see my friend gnomeangel sent me a box containing 3 packs of blinky bill gummy bears and this compilation CD. She took time out of her hectic social/work life a week ago to get this stuff, and ship it early, in the thought that it would take a week to get here and arrive just in time for my birthday. of course when you go to that sort of trouble, the postal system (its a universal trait) decided to ship it immediately, and it arrived in 2 days. how cool is that? very. anyways, you all should go read gnomeangel. do it. now. oh wait. all her good things are friend only.

Sidenote: if you do a google search on blinky bill gummy bears my LJ userinfo comes up 4th on the list. how amusing.

i'm eagerly awaiting the reheating of what i ate last nite for dinner. well no. thats wrong. i'm reheating the remaining pork chop that i made last nite. mmm it was good. this one should be as good.

otherwise i got a lot of crap from people about not doing anything for my birthday and having no plans. i decided it was more of a "stealth" birthday. my friend roxanne says that its cuz i didnt tell people that my birthday was coming up. i guess telling you all isnt the same as telling my friends here in real life. heehee. well, shes right, but i'm not really that caring about it. i mean, dont get me wrong, i like the attention. but i dont feel 34. i really dont. i've missed out on so much, that i think i'm probably maybe feeling like i did in my early 20s. aka when i first moved up here.

what was really amusing to me is that everyone wanted to schedule me for wednesday night. which is of course the night that my friend marie scheduled for celebrating. (she called me up the day before my birthday remembering. so she wins the night.)
